We at Go-Country are constantly on the lookout for new and beneficial ways to improve our website, and over the last year, and with the help of our customers, we have been testing our site to see how to enhance and develop our online shopping. The outcome has been to invest in a new and improved website, which, whilst still offering our online customers the opportunity to browse and buy at their leisure, now pushes the boundaries of online shopping, enabling our customers to feel fully informed about the product they are purchasing. For seven years we have been growing our retail shop Cotswold Country Living (together with Cotswold Shooting Company) which lies in the heart of the Cotswolds in the picturesque town of Cirencester.Situated just off the town centre with its own car park, Cotswold Country Living offers a fresh new perspective on traditional country fashion. What was once seen as a purely practical, often safe and restricting range of clothing has been transformed into an exciting and innovative collection, using traditional fabrics in a contemporary way. Cotswold Country Living stands at the forefront of this exciting and dynamic move, providing a diverse range of footwear, luggage, gifts and accessories, as well as an impressive choice of technical yet chic clothing.
Our range of clothing includes big brands like Schoffel, Musto, R.M Williams, Laksen, Dubarry, Chrysalis, and Le Chameau, which combine lightweight, breathable, strong fabrics that are ideal for all weather conditions. There are many other companies that supply us – too many to list in fact – and what we strive to offer is a diverse range of quality items that are a bit different.
We also offer a fully equipped gunroom with all the necessary accessories, a large range of air rifles and sporting rifles together with a competitively priced range of clay and game cartridges. The service we offer here is really quite unique in terms of knowledge and technical expertise. In the near future we intend to launch Go-Shooting, the online complement to the gunroom where customers will be able to browse and buy shooting accessories online.
To enable our clients to source good quality sport, some years ago we established The Cotswold Sporting Agency which is dedicated to providing shooting, fishing and simulated game days on some of the finest estates in the Cotswolds.
